What's more frightening is the possibility that he may have been involved in some sort of traumatic physical (car accident) and psychological (mother abandoning him) episode leading up to his memory loss.
people ruin everything....

he didnt get abandoned my his mother up hear. He took a bus to California and then was on his way to Alaska

I vote that the guy owns a nearly worn-out copy of The Bourne Identity on DVD.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
