I have a site which has about 20 pages, all in xhtml/css.

The index page has its body text all with strikethrough for an some unknown reason. Now this only seems to have happened since i changed the .htaccess file to control entry into the site.

Could the .htaccess have some affect on the index page or is there something else i should be looking at?

Your .htaccess file will not cause rendering issues like this. This sounds like an CSS issue, or an HTML one if these styles are not defined in your inline/external CSS.

Yes, you are right. It was a typo in the HTML which was throwing off the CSS.

Silly me.
