I am planning on upgrading a friends Beige G3 to OS 9.2 from OS 8.0. I am wondering if all I have to do is download the latest drivers for her Epson Stylus 3000 printer and Epson Expresion 636 scanner?

I am planning on erasing the hard drive and starting from scratch.

Thanks

It is very likely those particular printer/scanner drivers are not on the o/s 9 installer CD.You should be able to find them however,at Epson's if not Apple's
website

if you are upgrading not installing fresh you might not need to change anything. If the printer works fine after leave it, if it crashes alot or bugs up check for new versions of the driver. If you do a clean install of OS 9 on the same CD then u will need to install the drivers again either from the CD or download them, I would say download them to get the newest ones.
