Buying MacbookPro from eBay?

I am looking at purchasing a macbook pro from ebay. The seller gives the model number as MB471CH/A. On Apples website they list the current model number as (MB470LL/A) When I google the first model number a bunch of Chinese wholesale sites come up. Is this a knock off? Has anyone purchased one of these?
