What's the longest time you've gone between logins to the nn forums?

I thought about the MacNN forums today and wondered if my login still worked. Sure enough...here I am 6 years and 2 months later.

I went back to that time in my Google Calendar to see what changed in my life and why I hadn't logged in since then. Turns out moving to another city, changing jobs, and being introduced to Reddit will completely change your internet habits.

Are there any admins out there who can tell us who the longest inactive login is? Maybe we can get them to log in again too!

Six years? You missed the journey through the Huddler wilderness. Fun times.

I think I have been "away" for as much as 3-4 weeks at a time. I try to check in every morning, but sometimes "things" get in the way. But six years? I'm glad you actually remembered where we were!

This place was definitely more lively, less confrontational six+ years ago.

I was looking for good IRC channels to lurk in and thought MacNN might have one...I cant seem to connect to the server though. Probably user error.

From what I've heard, the IRC channel remains up: #macnn at irc.hashmark.net

Probably the six months I spent in the hospital and rehab last summer/fall/winter. I don't visit as much as in the early days, but it's rare that I miss more than a couple of weeks. The forums are one of the tabs that are on Safari when I load it.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
