Hey all,
I've got the following Macbook Pro

1.83 Ghz
512 mb ram
80 gig ram
OSX 10.4.8

Last night, I shut the cover and when I opened it about an hour later, the keyboard was illuminated and the track pad and keyboard are unresponsive. Luckily, my wireless keyboard and mouse works, and so does everything else (usb ports for ipod, external harddive, external monitor), but I'm pretty confused. is there are trigger that would turn these things off?

Maybe it just froze up. Have you tried restarting, and did it restore functionality?
