I need to transfer Fusion/Windows XP to a different computer. Am unsure how to proceed. Will I need to call VMware or Micrsoft to use the activation numbers again?

Is it on a Boot Camp partition or as a virtual machine? If it's as a VM, you should be able to move it around as you please. Just move the VM file itself. Although it'll be large (multi-GB if you have anything installed in it), it should work fine from any other VMware Fusion app on other Macs. You could even try to run it on an external drive.

It is currently on a boot camp partition. Is there a way to remove the boot camp partition as well?

Thanks,

You can use Boot Camp Assistant to restore your Mac to a single partition.

You may be able to use VMware Converter to boot into Windows natively and convert it to a VMware virtual machine file.
