ive been making my own icons to compliment these all night long. ive made about 60 so far for all my applications and have about 60 to go. im doing all this work because i really think this will be the last icon set i will use also these look good with the theme plasteragv. although i am probably going to mod it quite a bit to look more like the icons, change the widgets and growboxes and all buttons and scrolls and progress throughout. so whoever made plasteragv i think you should do this also and maybe talk to the icon maker here and colaborate. make it real theme for everyone!

Great enthousiasm !
I too love the FlatWhiteBezels, still you never know what's around the corner...
But as you noticed yourself, Plaster and furthermore my PlasterAGV mod are even flatter, lighter, and with less contrast. You might take into consideration : pull up Plaster/PlasterAGV on one hand or work from Good Grey on the other, to make either of these themes match the FWB icons even better. Have fun !
Meanwhile, because I've invested so much time in tuning my own baby throughout, PlasterAGV and Serenity are still solid as a rock over here. But I'd love to see your snapshot someday.
BTW, personally I don't believe there's a theme for everyone

Almost done with the icons Few more changes in the theme but I would have to say plaster is looking good with the mods.

Anyone know how to get this kick-ass boot screen to work, round corners and all?
I've tried saving it as a PDF with transparency from Photoshop, but I still get white corners at boot time...

Try .tiff or perhaps .png ?

That occurred to me but I wasn't sure if changing the BootPanel file format would do screwy things to my OS. I take it that it should be OK then?

blushing...
I just looked here and a pdf seems to be needed. Please don't mess up.
still blushing...
You could add the background colors in the four corners, but that would be a silly workaround

I thought about that too, but that would throw off the drop shadow. I think that perhaps rounded corners just aren't possible.

Dumb question for you guys.. But the image you saved as a PDF, did it have a transparent background? Did you check you PDF settings to keep the transparency as well?

Yes it did.
I opened the PNG in Photoshop and exported as PDF, no layers, transparency on. Then I opened the Photoshop PDF in Preview and reexported to PDF (to remove the redundant Photoshop data). I then opened this PDF in Photoshop again to check that transparency was still intact, which it was, so I went ahead and substituted it for the original BootPanel.pdf file.
No worky.

A reverse of these along the lines of the original "Bezel Icons" (akin to the volume, etc ) would also rock!
