When will macbooks get 15" screens? I wouldn't mind buying one if they have a 15" screen. I have a pb 15" screen and don't want to downsize to a 13" or spend extra on macbook pro.

i personally think never. they need to distinguish between the consumer and pro line and have clear cut incentives to have the pro.
i suggest getting a refurbished macbook pro. you get the increased resolution/backlit keyboard/non-integrated video card.
the only downside is not being able to upgrade hard drives without voiding your warranty.

Ok.
When they classify the refurbished models, does that mean, the computer was opened and someone turned the computer on and didn't want it?

Yes, it can. Or it can be that it was returned as defective (failed component(s) of sometype) and Apple repaired it for resale.

Oh.
Well, I wouldn't ask this question again in 3 months, because I asked it already.

Yes, Jobs loves to give multiple options for computers. I think it would be a neat idea if they released 15" Macbook. What would be the downside of releasing it? It would only help their sells.

It'd probably take away from Macbook Pro Sales. Besides, Jobs probably saw that they offered too many computers before and decided to streamline.

I don't really think it would take away from the Macbook Pro sales at all.
But thats what I think.
