I just noticed that the battery status indicator is reading "99%", when I know that it isn't, because I have been running on battery power for a couple of hours now. I just plugged in the power adaptor & the orange light is on, and I'm still getting "99%" up in the tool bar. The lights on the battery itself seem to indicate that the battery is half charged, which would be about right.

Is there a simple way to reset this, or is there a handy little battery utility that works well?

Thanks.

You should take it in for replacement, I had the same problem.... and it was replaced within 2 days.

Although I wouldn't say no to a replace, a reboot seemed to work just as well, & only took a couple of minutes. I guess it just needed a little nudge.

All is well.
