After installing the latest OS update, my Lexar firewire compact flash card reader will not mount if I put a card in the reader. I could shut down, start up and it will read once. If I pull that card out and try putting in another, it will not mount again.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

X

Are you un-mounting the card by "ejecting" it from the desktop? What I mean by this is are you dragging the mounted card to the eject button where the trash can normally is?

Maybe your computer doesn't know that the card is gone if you're ripping it out like that....just an idea

I drag the card to the trash or arrow that means eject. I am doing the same thing I have always have done without problems until I installed the newest OS update.
