Does anyone on here use these? Reckon they'd be any good for gaming over (PS3 etc)?

Oh, that's not Power over Ethernet. That's just using your copper power lines for networking. The downside is that they're not shielded, so any data you send over it gets broadcasted like an antenna. Probably OK for home and networking-in-a-pinch, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. You're probably better off just using encrypted wireless.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) is quite the opposite of what you're thinking about. PoE provides power & data over a single ethernet cable.

Do you mean power over ethernet or ethernet over power lines?

The PS3 doesn't support power over ethernet; it needs a lot more than the 13W PoE can provide.

I mean ethernet over powerlines haha, I must have written my title the wrong way around!
