Hello All,
I have the Fisher FVD-C1 CameraCorder (a USB 2.0 device), when I plug it in to my 15" 1.5Ghz Powerbook and look at it in System profiler, it shows up as a USB 1.0 (12Mb per sec) speed device. Is there something I am missing? Is it running at 480Mb?
Thanks for your thoughts.

You aren't, perchance, using a hub, are you? A USB device will only work as fast as the slowest hub it is connected through.

I know some Canon scanners do not support USB 2.0 on Mac's when it does on PC's.

If you have another USB 1 device on the same bus it will drag all connected peripherals down to USB 1 speed.
Don't know how things are set up on a Powerbook, but may be something to think about.
