I will never need to type these words, autocorrect.

However, “isn’t” and “with” are fairly common.

Well put, sir. I used to have a cat named Ishtar - but she was of an era long before cell phones, let alone smart phones. And “Witt” only makes me think of Katarina Witt, who was an Olympic figure skater, again before smart phones...

It makes me wonder who writes the logic that autocorrect depends on to identify “misspelled” words (or more technically “unrecognized” words). I want to find out things like “do you actually read properly written English at any time?” Or “other than headlines and text-speak, do you read anything at all?” And most importantly “do you, or anyone you know, formally touch-type?” Inquiring minds and all that...

Auto-correct has gotten significantly worse in the past 12 months.

I get non-sensical proposals and corrections all the time.

Why Apple keeps fudging with things that are not broken, but not fixing things that are (Siri, cough), is beyond me.

It got bad for awhile, but I feel it’s gotten better.

It used to rather aggressively try to fix the word behind the word I was typing, which was obnoxious because it was wrong 90% of the time.
