Why do people always use apostrphy-s when referring to a series of years i.e. "1980's", "80's", etc? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Ack!!!!

"As Apple Computers introduces the Macintosh..."

It's not "Apple Computers"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! It's Apple Computer, Inc. Why do people always screw this up?

Still it's not as bad as refering to Apple Computer, Inc. as "Macintosh." That one really ticks me off. You don't call Ford Motor Co. "Taurus" do you?

Enough of a rant for now.

CyberDave
