Dangerously close to being a hippy, there. Definitely seeing a "Green shift" on the test, add 3 spaces to the Right and 1 space up, to account for test bias and get a more accurate reading.

Make that one-and-a-half to two spaces down if you "strongly agree" with the statement "the right to bear arms is an important civil liberty".

About where I'd expect. The original test I remember taking from libertarians was shorter and didn't have the soft questions like bottled water. I'd also have prefered a "no opinion" option for some of them, where neither agree nor disagree really fit.

ah, here it is:
World's Smallest Political Quiz

and my results are similar:

The only social one which I had to think about was the draft. My knee-jerk response is there could be some global horror which would require it, but then I flipped to "if it's that bad, then people need to step up".

I'm too old now, but when this was still relevant, I was comfortable with the idea that as an able-bodied citizen, if we got into a war for all the marbles, I wouldn't have to be told to do my duty.

That said, global war doesn't seem likely with our current situation. Putin doesn't have the vision, and that's not how China rolls.

At the time the young me had this discussion with myself, China was the only possibility, so just as unlikely back then.

This is where I'll point out I don't think its a particularly good quiz. It says I agree with Trump on immigration. I also think it relies heavily on PR statements rather than legislative record.

I like how we're both over 90 on Sanders, but somehow 66 to >3 on Huckabee.

These numbers are like in base 16 or something.

I was surprised at the results (sorry I can't get the image up now)

Bernie 90
Hillary 76
Martin O'Malley 64
Rand Paul 46
Ben Carson 28
Ted Cruz 27
Scott Walker 29
Carly "The Bitch On Wheels" Fiorina 17

But there should've been more questions on Military, Space, Religion, and Public Works (Infrastructure)

I keep trying to take the test with a less wishy-washy stance, but the questions (as they often do), piss me off.

Take the "should businesses be able to refuse service based on religious beliefs?"

In general, no. Are there exceptions? Yes. Do you feel strongly? Why the **** do you think I have the opinion?

Okay, just trying to help Cranky McCrankerton... Huckabee's clearly your man, except when it's Bernie Sanders. Have a nice day.

I was clicking the other options a lot to see the nuance, but I get the feeling several were paraphrased PR statements.

I tried that too, only to discover more irritating questions didn't improve the likelihood I'd finish it.

I haven't survived the last two attempts.

I'm wondering what you have to do to get less than 90 on Sanders? Strongly agree with the "government should kick puppies" question?

Some surprises there, but generally about right. The question balancing is wacko.

Practically no one that I'm less than 50% in agreement with, which is about right for me. I knew Rand would be at the top, but what surprised me is how high Rubio was on my list (Sanders being at 66% is screwy too, since we couldn't be further apart on the economy and big gov't).

Another vote for Bernie, it seems, with Hillary right behind.

Although my take on immigration apparently would endear me to Trump and Cruz. Brrrr.

I side 90% with Bernie Sanders

Geezus, I took it again and this time Trump shows up at 46% agreement. Maybe I need new drugs.

He's about as electable as Trump, but almost equally as entertaining. At least he'll make this election less boring.

I can accept that, just odd that they wouldn't feel icky for doing so. And 77% is quite a lot.

I did take it but I don't really use any photo hosting services so I didn't have anywhere to easily upload the results. Turns out I didn't even bother to save the screen grab.

If memory serves it came out with Sanders on top then Hillary. I think the highest conservative was Trump. I'll try it again when I get a few minutes.
