I just got Dave 2.0 and I got it configured so I can view the Windows Network Computers through the Chooser and I can D/L from them also. However, my computer doesn't show up on the network. My computer is not listed with the other computers on the network in my chooser or on my friends Windows computer, but he's listed on mine.
Help someone! I want to be listed on the network also.
Name, Workgroup, and Description have to be filled out in the NetBios control panel. Also, you should update to DAVE version 2.1, especially if you're on a large network.

You need to turn on DAVE Sharing (with the control panel of that name) to be seen on the network. You'll notice that PCs that aren't sharing their disks don't show up either.
You won't show up in your own Chooser list. It only shows fileservers out on the network.
I also recommend you upgrade for free to 2.1.
