I am running Mac OS 10.9.5 on a 2014 MacBook Pro. I would like to change the Screensaver slide duration from the default duration of 3 seconds to 10 seconds. I am not well versed in technical matters, so I hope there is a straightforward way to make this change. Thanks ahead.

This hint appear to have a method, but it is clunky:

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
