You know, with all these nude protests going on, I've got to admit, I'm a bit curious. Who the heck came up with the idea? Why did they find the idea to be in any way whatsoever relevant to war, or peace for that matter. Do they think that being naked will somehow magically get people to agree with them?

Not saying they don't have a right to do it, mind you. But I can't see how it's anything other than incredibly stupid. Or perhaps a cheap excuse to get nekkid in public.

It has nothing to do with anything but getting attention. You'll find out most protestors are attention whores.

And they do it for attention as protesting alone doesn't do it.

I thought that the women in Australia were nice looking, showed some of them clothed prior to protesting.

Agreed is is an attention seeking exercise, most of them have nothing better to do. It is their right to free expression, at least they are expressing an opinion.

Sometimes wish I had the nerve to protest!

It seems quite counterproductive. Wouldn't it only encourage people to keep doing whatever they're doing? "Oh man, so if I keep pushing for war, you're going to stay naked? hmmmmm"

Guess you are referring to NOW (National Organization of Whiners), that don't shave their legs or armpits! Most of the protestors are college students, their young, ans so we need to give them some slack!

I'm just honestly curious. What does being naked have to do with anything, as far as war and/or peace are concerned? Who came up with the idea to protest naked, and why? And why does it seem to have caught on so much?

I guess it works. I came into this thread to see naked people, so it got my attention. Maybe nude protestors get other people's attention! Sex sells everything, even peace
