I have to make a big presentation in a week. I'm using a Ti Book running under OS X. The presentation will be made using Powerpoint running under classic. Will I be able to project in Classic or should I boot in 9.1?
It may seem a dumb question, but I don't want to fool around before the presentation with 80 people waiting.

Personally I would boot up to OS 9.1 - save the unveiling of OS X for when Steve does his - this July, when the real OS X ships.

I had this same exact question yesterday, but I am using a Lombard G3. It works fine, you just have to restart the computer after the projector is plugged in. Not what I expected, but it works. I'm sure they will be improving this in the future.

Don't you have to restart the computer with OS 9 as well? That is what I have always had to do. I also notice that with a projecter in OS X things are much slower. Almost as if Quartz is having to do a lot more work.
