Strange iPhoto problem

	I'm having a problem with iphoto, but it's hard to explain. When you enhance a photo, you can click control to see the difference between the enhanced photo and the original. However, when I click control after enhancing a photo, I get different colors then the original photo has. When I do then command + Z, to refer to the original photo, the colors are again different. If I now push the control button, I again see different colors! In all the photo's are darker, and overall look better. Any solutions? This is on Mac OS X 10.2.6, latest version of iPhoto.
