I decided to try the iPhoto book ordering today. Composed the pics in iPhoto 5.0.1 and sent off the order. All seemed OK. I then received an e-mail from Apple saying:
****
Thank you for placing your order with Apple. Your order was received, however a problem was detected with this order which prevents fulfillment. Your order has been put on hold and will be cancelled. Your credit card has not been billed.
For additional iPhoto support and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit http://www.apple.com/support/iphoto/ww/.
Thanks again for shopping with Apple.
****
How vague is that? No real clues when I go to the Apple website. Has anyone had this experience and why might this be?

Was one of your pictures in an odd format, like .bmp or perhaps .gif? Any RAW or .PSD images?
Any pictures that might be, uh, of an adult nature or very mature subject matter?
Any pictures that are copyright protected (other than your own)? Any images with imbedded/hidden digital watermarks?

No, no (!) and no. All pics from my Nikon D70. In the end I just resubmitted the book and it seemed to work.
