coreaudiod x2 = no UI sounds?

	Argh. For some reason that I can't track down, coreaduiod has two running threads when I believe normally it has only one - when this happens, my UI sounds (trash emptying, copying folders, etc) stop working - but all other audio still works fine. Any ideas?
