I could do with some help guys. This evening, when I am using Mail.app to check my main POP account the activity window shows 'Fetching new mail (preparing to receive messages)' but nothing happens. Eventually it seems to give up.
Now, I can log in with Webmail and see new messages there. I have read and deleted them all through Webmail to remove any possible 'rogue' messages. But now, when I send myself a test e-mail, I still don't get it into Mail.app.
Oddly, when I check with my iPhone which has (by definition, almost) the same settings as Mail.app, it gets my mail OK.
So something has gone wrong in Mail.app and how it accesses this one account. Other accounts are checked OK.
Any thoughts?
