almost every page i go to in safari it will pop up a warning saying that my attempt to load the plugin shockwave flash has failed. i have no problem with this but how can i get safari to stop giving me these stupid warnings? safari 3.0.4 on os 10.4.11.

Have you tried reinstalling Flash? Are you using a Flash blocking plugin?

Shockwave Flash is actually not the same thing as Flash despite the name and confusingly doing similar things.

You can try updating to the latest version of the plugin, or better completely uninstall it. Shockwave is not used any more on the web.
