This is a shot in the dark, but....

I went to Univ. of Penn last year to watch the MWSF '02 Stevenote via satlite on a projection screen with a good group of MacHeads. I'm trying to find out if this will happen again, but can't find any info. I think I found out of this via Apple site originally last year but can't find info there ether.

If you are in the area and know something, please post. Thanks!

Well it won't be broadcast via TV outside of America

This could be the last MW and I'll have to watch a webcast. <grumble>
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I did look on the Penn website for a while and found nothing. I sent emails out and posted on a mailinglist i found but nothing informative back yet.

The Apple Campus Rep has heard nothing ether.

Perhaps its not going to happen since the Univ's semester doesn't start till the 13th.

Mike:

I was at that very same keynote you were at. But I really wasn't paying much attention to who was there.

Just wondering, how were you able to get in to see it? Were you affiliated with Penn at the time? I was only able to get in because I was doing my Co-Op with Penn at the time.

Anyways, I'm out of state this time, so I'll have to watch the QT stream. My best advice would be to get in touch with one of the Apple Professionals that work at the UPenn Computer Connection. I've added a hyperlink below which will take you there. This will be your best shot, and as a last resort, you can call the ISC Help Desk. Good Luck.

I'm not affiliated with Penn at all. At the time I was a Drexel student, and now am Drexel Staff. No one really seemed to mind my presence and I was under the impression that I was "sneaking in".

Hey phellow Phillies...

Have you tried to contact someone at MacBUS.org ? I was a member earlier this year but haven't been to many meetings lately. This users group has a lot of people in the know on things like these.

Wish I could go to more meetings...they're practically across the street form me, but I work on the other side of town now...

I haven't before, but have now.

I'm actually a member too. Stoped by in Oct then joined in Nov. I missed the Dec meeting due to the holidays but am anxious for the Jan meeting.

With luck someone on the board at macbus email knows something. We'll see.
