What? Only ten years late?
Which brings me to this...
Should it not be Freddy vs Pinhead, and Jason vs Michael Myers? I would actually want to see that...

The second was definitely the best. The third was good in that "Army of Darkness" kinda way. Like it's the done thing for the third film to take the rip out of itself or something and blow the massive budget...

I tried to watch it, but fell asleep. Yeah, but the others were tolerable, the first few being the best. They really were different at the time.

Don't know if it was #4, but it was worth skipping. 1 and 2 were good, but I lost interest after that. Kind of like the Nightmare on Elm street movies.
The first time I saw the original, it was dubbed in french (I was visiting Paris at the time). That really made it amusing at times. Same thing with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's really funny when you juxtapose another culture's idioms onto some of these films.

Does anybody remember the first few scenes in the first one(I think)?
My girlfriend at the time had me turn it off during those scenes.
It was when the Dr. had a patient sit on that bed, then he handed him a scalpel and then the patient proceeded to shred himself.

That was the second one. Dr Channard or something. The first one was more about Julia and that Uncle dude.

While it wasn't very Hellraiserish, I thought that movie wasn't bad at all.
