imac Rev B and Flash Memory

	I use an iMac Rev B. We recently upgraded the firmware with the newest release. Since then the none of the USB devices works. System will also not shutdown. We've reload the O/S several times (8.5 and 8.6) with no luck. We can't go back to the previous rev. level. We were and still are using the latest zip, CD-R, and scanner drivers. No luck, any suggestions would help.
