AAAAHHHH! Why does everyone ask this. This must be the 100th thread with this question. Anyways, I've said it before so I'll say it again...

You camera or reader must be on the "supported" list. To see this list do a search at Apple's support webvsite for "image capture".

Everyone asks this because it is not clear, smarty pants. Apple should have included a list of supported cameras. Apple users are too used to things "just working" to have to go hunt down a TIL article for everything they do.

The Elph works just peachy with classic mode. And while this is a pain, Canon PhotoStich is a pretty nice app if you're into panoramas.

Actually it is clear, Apple includes a list. Its called their Tech Info Library, or now their Knowledge Base. As I said a simple ten second search there for "Image Capture" would have gotten he answer. Same goes for this forum, its been discussed hundreds of times.

Anyways, I'm just frustrated trying to get people to help themselves (even to this limited degree) instead of everything getting handed to them on a silver platter.
