I have a 3rd generation iPod for sale, 15gb. This has been a GREAT iPod with ONE exception. While the battery *does* still hold a good charge, the battery LEVEL is rather unpredictable. I'll charge it until it shows full, then take it off charge and it'll show 50% charge, for example. Or the battery will run down, but then hours later still have more charge.

It is NOT under warranty any longer, but as I said, it works great with that exception. I'm also including the original box and software, the dock, firewire cable, charger, earbuds (used) and earbud covers (new).

Cosmetically, the iPod has quite a few scratches - but none more prominent than others to the point that they're distracting. You can see photos here:

I don't really think the battery level is really a flaw, as I've read it happened with most all of the 3rd gen iPods (it happened with my 30gb). It is an annoyance, but doesn't impede the functionality at all.
