are you a:

bitter nerd- this type of nerd has been mistreated in school by peers and therefore can only relate to people in a hostile way

"world-weary" nerd- this nerd may have never left his own state or country, but he has been to so many websites that he feels he has seen it all. the world has nothing left to offer him, but he takes comfort in thinking he is sophisticated

the happy nerd- this nerd is happy, for whatever reason. maybe he doesn't know he's a nerd, or maybe he is relatively well adjusted and knows how to get along with people

the gay nerd- the gay nerd is automatically more sophisticated than the rest of the nerds because he is urbane, and he knows never to wear socks with sandals

the macho nerd- this nerd is very aggressive and masculine, and is probably obsessed with modifying his car/computer/moped

the closet nerd- lastly, the closet nerd is somebody who has a life, perhaps has a professional career, but maybe he spends an inordinate ammount of time at circuit city or reading computer magazines

I don't think I'm a nerd, so I guess I'm happy by your standards. I'm also part macho nerd, but not the modding part.

So overall I think I'm a mac-happy nerd.

Never thought I'd ever say this, but I'm a coming-out-of-the-closet nerd.

I'm not a nerd. But if I had to chose I would say I am a closet/macho/gay nerd except for the being gay and modding stuff parts.

I don't consider myself to be a nerd. None of the above descriptions fit me either.
