I have an installer for something on CD-ROM that requires 64MB of memory to even install. Although I have less than that (32MB), I know for a fact that the installer is wrong and the program would work perfectly well on my system. Is there any program, etc, that can temporarily 'fool' the computer into thinking it has 64MB of memory, and thus get past the install lock-out? I really need this!
As a programmer, I have an idea how this could be accomplished (patching calls to the Gestalt Manager), but I don't have the resources to create such a fix. Thanks!
