hi.
just bought a 8100-80 to house my radius video vision.
got it hame and there is a HUGE nubus card in it - slot info reports it as a supermac SM-ICS card.
it's COVERED in ram - and is actually 2 cards joined together..
it has a strange external connector - looks like a cross between a 68 pin SCSI and an SCA connector.
anyone know what the hell it is?
thanks from New Zealand!!

Ah sounds like a Splash server (a RIP that fit into a regular computer), these required an adb dongle to work with their software (which is useless without the actual color laser copier/printer).

We have one (with PCI) on a machine at work. Doesn't sound like you'll be able to do much with it. I was curious and thought it might have been a precursor to the Radius VideoVision (I think supermac was bought by Radius back in its day).

Aaaah, when memories fade... Oh well.
