Your sig. should look like some witty text (or not so in my case).
Graphical sigs are so Y2K!

With your username, I'd do some kind of art-neuveau-meets-the-30's-gangster kind of thing. Like with a solid background color, and a silhouetted, tommy-gun toting gangster guy and, maybe, a bullet-riddled name.
I don't know. Just what I saw when I thought of your username...

1) Sign your name in photoshop, and use that.
2) Send me a box of your blank checks.

I think that you should make one with photoshop actions. That's how I made mine. The actions can be found. at Action X Change. Take a look at my sig. It was made with titanium.

wclarkson, please decrease the size of your sig image to 120x35 and <10K in size.
Those are the only guidelines. Oh, and it can't be animated either, although randomized pics like sonicblue's are fine.

Sorry to disappoint ... but as you can see from my sig, I stink with those fancy graphics sigs. If I ever did want one, I'd have to ask SonicBlue to make one for me.
I do have one suggestion, though. If you want some really good suggestions, post a thread in Art & Graphic Design and call it a challenge. People will be all over it, and then you can pick and choose.

That looks a little like a suppository filled with Hg.
I call 'em like I see 'em.
