I thought this was good at first until I realized his instructions were wrong. Reversing the direction around the look works for him, but not necessarily for everyone. It depends how you initially crossed the laces. For me, I naturally go the regular way around the knot and I get it right. The part he explained correctly is the test for correctness. Your results may vary.

Aside: This is really just like a square knot. A lot of people tie them wrong too. If you know how to tie a square knot correctly, you can easily tell whether your shoe laces are correctly tied.

Sucks. I was just reading that SyFy canceled another show too. I really need to only start watching shows after they are over so I know how many seasons there are and whether I will be disappointed.
