well, it's official, i am the prooud owner of a 15 inch powerbook g4. it fainally came in the mail today after a mass of probems with fedex but i opened the box on an absolutely gorgeous laptop. i'm so happy i bought this thing. my only qualm is the battery life, it's not looking so hot. i've seen an extended life battery for sale online but i forgot where exactly i saw it and how much it was, can anyone clue me in?

Nice. Just be sure to get enough ram so you don't handicap yourself. PiXelcheck is also a great freeware app to check your pixels.
You can adjust your energy settings via the preferences panel, but a second battery isn't bad when on the road (I had to get one for my rev c 17 as well).
