I hear its good for the soul to ask and tell how your day is going. Maybe.
How is your day going, disappointed by yesterday? excited?

I could be better.

Actually, I'm miserable. But a forum isn't the place to dish out our lives, is it?

But according to last.fm we're medium in the compatibility department, so that enlightened me for a fraction of time. And the fact that you like Spoon so much makes me happy.

I'm still on yesterday. Insomnia bad.

But, can't complain. Yesterday was reasonable for a Tuesday. Sort of a yellowy feel to it. I'm still awesome. The Pot Noodle I just ate was also awesome isn't it.

But I'm not sure about all this spooning business. A fork works better.

I spent last night playing with the boyfriend's new 50" Sony TV. Now I want one.

Then I re-read the beginning of Harry Potter #5 for the Nth time and went to bed.

So far all I've done is drive to work and check up these stupid forums. (Stupid only because they distract me so when I'm supposed to be working...)
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Pretty good here.
I got home yesterday and Katamari for the PS2 arrived so I played that for a while. I came to work this morning and remembered the Ico for the PS2 should be arriving soon, so that gives me something to look forward to this week.

It's Wednesday, halfway through the week, all in all, pretty good.

I'm doing great. My last day at my current job is Friday.
I'm taking a lot of long lunches, and people are buying me drinks at said lunches.

NA test? When you mentioned practical... I was thinking the lab portion of the IE test... but then you wouldve been MIA for a whole day.

How was it... I need to take it again, mine expired like two years ago... and now I hear its a bit tougher.... which doesn't help as I'm not in the "trenches" anymore.

Lousy
The reason is because right now I'm watching CNBC and the analyst predict that Apple stock will be between 113 and 125 (U.S. $) per share. And I didn't buy any back when it was buy one get three shares free.

And when I woke up this morning I was still bald. DAMMIT. Why can't dreams come true.

So far so good.
Everyone in the office is talking about the iPhone as if they invented it, which is funny when it's a bunch of drooling PC users.

I usually asking "How are you" because most of the time you just say it as a formality and really could care less.

Unless they are a complete stranger I like to start off with something a bit more honest and interesting.

It is amazing how often people say "How are you" and never really hear the reply.
You can say almost anything, provided you say it like a standard reply.

Passing co-worker: "How are you?"
Me: "Absolutely miserable. And you?"
Passing: "Great, thanks. See ya."

A lot of people don't even answer the question.

Me: "Hey, how are you doing?"
Them: "Hey, my man!"
Me: "…Hi!"

Not bad. The weather supposed to be bad in the Pacific NW, I guess not in my area yet.

I drove my sister to the airport, then I went to the library and picked up a cup of coffee on the way home.

Not bad. No lab today, meaning 7 hours of class became 4. I also bought a computer for my sister to use in the class she's taking: 1GHz PIII, 512MB RAM, 20GB HD, keyboard, optical mouse, harmon kardon speakers, $43.50. Runs XP and Office 2003 like a champ, although it's taking forever to install the 70+ updates that are needed. She'll be getting a MacBook next summer, so this is just to hold her over.

So I was in the pub the other day and Sara said that I rock which made Jane laugh and Amanda came over all like "Doofy you rock" eyes on me. That said, Dave walked in and bought me a coke because I rock. I'm the best at drinking coke because I rock and I make everyone laugh much better than you because you know nothing. That said, Milla just phoned me and I told her that forums are the perfect place for dishing out your lives because her and Julie were talking about it in the cafe the other day so I had to correct them because they don't know anything.

Acually good.

I realised yesterday that I got my computer featured in a magazine I had summited.
That means I won a year's subscription to the mag.
If you live in Australia, it's in PCPowerplay (Feb 07) Pg77 "MyPC"

I was rattle from my sleep by the jack hammer they're using the repair the elevator in my hotel at 7:30AM (I can't complain as I was fore warned this would happen 4 months ago when I made the reservation).

Then I walked down 7 flights of stairs and down the street to the Moscone Center.

After checking out the vendors that I missed yesterday.

At noon I met up with Demonhood and Montanan, we had lunch at the 'Thirsty Bear' with a former MacNN (His identity will remain a secret of those who where there to protect the innocent....wait there was nothing innocent about it....all the more reason for it to remain a secret). Our anonymous host picked up the bill (If you ever read this: THANK YOU!)

We returned the convention and had some fun at other peoples expense (Hopefully Demonhood won't be to lazy posting this years gallery).

Then I returned to my room to relax and compimplate what I am doing for dinner and evening entertainment.

Just fantastic, thanks.

I'm back in my Edmonton apartment but without any school to go to anymore! Today I maximized my laziness, didn't do a single law school application or hand out any resumés, enjoyed the ~20cm of snow we've gotten since last night, and put my boards in to get waxed and tuned for Friday's trip to Marmot Basin in Jasper. In between, I finished off John Steinbeck's East of Eden, which is a freakin' insanely great book.

Life is good.
