Can anybody tell me where to find the plain Apple page curl icon? They used to have it for download with the HIG, but it doesn't seem to be there anymore.

A while back, I came across two really, really useful images that you might find relevant:
and
If you mask out your graphic with the bottom image, then paste it on top of the top image, you'll get the shadow of the page curl right where it ought to be. The only trick is making sure the background color of your image matches the background color of the default Apple document icon. I'm sure these aren't the official icons with which to do this (the gradient for the page curl shadow is a little bit jagged), but they definitely work.

I know exactly what you're talking about and I have the link to that page but they took them down for some reason. That link now redirect me to standard HIG pages
When I get back to home this thursday, I could compress it and upload it to my server. I think I still have all of the other packages I downloaded from there.

Does anyone know the best way to export individual sizes of icons from the .icns files without loosing the alpha channel?
The new Preview will only let you export the 128 x 128 icon, and now the alpha channel is hidden by default/shown as black.

open the .icns in Icon Composer (you need to have the Dev tools installed) then choose the size you want and click "Export Image" in the "File" menu. It will save the individual size image as a .tiff
