I noticed today that Apple has reduced the prices on all their keyboards and mice. The wired ones are now $29 each instead of $49, and the wireless ones are $59 rather than $69. A bit more down to earth now.

Someone will bring out the timeline soon This hasn't really been talked about much, but that's been there since the 2.3ghz xserve was released
Still no way they're worth that. The current wired stuff is nowhere near as nice looking as the pro keyboard/mouse was

Would be nice, if apple made a new mouse, yes one with more than 1 button, and maybe instead of a scroll wheel, have that clickwheel type thing where there is no moving parts, you just move your finger up and down to scroll, would be neat.

They have been saying that for 20 years. Don't hold your breath.

Actually, the mouse that uses that method of scrolling (the Kensington Studio Mouse) is a worthless piece of crap. You have to jam your finger down way too hard for it to register.
Also it's too bad the keyboard isn't adjustable and has a weird feel to it. I agree, the Pro stuff was way better than what they have now. They're not worth $29 either, but at least it's not a total ripoff.
