This video claims to show a new iPod running a mobile version of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

My gut feeling says fake, but that's just me.

You're actually wondering if it could be real?

Anyways, here is the Lounge thread.

Nice fake. VERY nice.

Actually, as one of the original Newton owners and a committed Windows Mobile owner ever since, where the hell is Apples PDA?

FORGET iPhone... I want iPDA. Yup, I want this fake.

Yes, seriously. As someone who has recently added a 2nd hand Mac to his PC, I have to say the Mac is quite capable of taking over on a lot of things, but there are some things the old PC wil have to be retained for:-

1. Games - Yes, I could get an xbox, but I don't wanna.

2. Connecting to my HTC Universal - to do Push Email and OTA Syncing, I use Outlook. I'm not aware of any good equivalent on the Mac?

3. GPS Apps - they tend to come out for the PC, not Mac.

4. MySportTraining - invaluable fitness s/w running on Windows Mobile and, yup, PC.

5. Um, that's it. Everything else, from RSS readers to Picture Viewers the Mac do do easily. I'm sure the Intel Macs will go a long way to solving this problem, what with BootCamp etc, but I'd wanna run PC apps without having to reboot. Having to reboot kills it for me.

Sorry for the derail.... again, nice fake.

Since it's an iPod topic, I went here and didn't see any reference to it, so I posted. I try to stay away from the Lounge as much as possible.

I think the trouble the guy has clicking on those miniature widgets with his stylus demonstrates nicely why this wouldn't be a very user-friendly product.

How could such an advanced OS run on a 32Mhz processor? My Palm is over 400Mhz!

You must have missed the GHz myth debate.
