Poor little iBook is great for a lot of things. Just don't play games for run MathLab on it.
For most of the stuff I do, I only use word and PPT. For the price, it just isn't worth it to get a powerbook....as much as I'd like a 15".
Numbers (even though they are now pretty darned good for the high end) do not a user experience make. I said that when we were lagging behind, and I still say it now that we are competitive.
The iBook still has a place, and I don't see me getting a different laptop for a long time...
I will, however, get a G5 for my desktop number crunching as soon as I can!

By the way, the top score for the dual G5 2.0 is now 555, and the top score for the dual Xeon 3.06 is now 490, and it's no longer an overclocked dual 2.4 machine.
