I was able to setup my iCloud and gmail accounts on powermail under Mac OS 9.2.2 but Outlook Express 5.0.1 (1630) fails at everything, this is sending and receiving from both gmail and iCloud.

Anyone else with these problems?

Outlook Express in OS 9 doesn't support the right type of SSL authentication for IMAP. At least, that's the best guess I have. You can use SSL and set the right port, but it still fails.

I'm not familiar with Powermail. Do you have a link? I'd like to get email working on my IIci, if I can...
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Download | CTM

I can't find any old version on their site but have somewhere on my hard disk.
Let me search for it.
