Ok. That's not going to change my love for Audi or Lamborghini. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford the Lambo but if I could buy one I still would. I'm still a fan of the Diablo 6.0.

You guys read all that in 11 minutes?

I wouldn't. I'd be scared to take the thing above 40 - seeing as Valentino is crashing them left, right and centre (and if Valentino can't keep them on the road, nobody can).

My money would be on a Koenig restored Diablo SV (99+).

I have always enjoyed Lamborghini's and though they were great cars, but after reading that I am a bit less confident.
Though truthfully I probably would never (if I could) buy anyways, I would prefer to just purchase a luxury BMW or equal level car.

If I want to have a racing car or race a car I would gladly pay to go to a course and do it under professional watch.

It is dreams that will survive, for a dream is immortal.

Yep. And it's a lot better than your Contour SVTs interior. That I can assure you. I don't really know why you're being a dick considering I was the one who was most excited about your SVT purchase, while other members scoffed at it.

Indeed. As are most automatic shifters, and automatic transmissions in general. All my other cars are manual, and my SVX will be too, eventually.

So by being nice to me you earned my being nice to you?

I'd take this:

over fake wood trim and automatic seat belts any day. Thank you.

The fake wood trim is kinda gross, but at least the interior isn't all grey plastic. Also, the auto seatbelts are nice. I actually like them. Most people have bad experiences with them because they were in small compact cars, which are very constraining. The SVX is big enough that it does not feel constraining, and they move slowly enough not to freak you out. Also, the rest of the interior was designed by Georgio Guigairo. It's quite nice, with a panel that slides up over hte CD player to hide what you have, and a very intuitive HVAC control system/display. The build quality is light years ahead of the contour, sorry.

SVX: Surrounded by high quality padded vinyl, alcantara synthetic suede, leather, flowing interior design, great hvac system

SVT: Cheap grey plastic. Nice seats.

They aren't in the same league.

looks like a sad face. I don't like how the new BMW's look, Audi's design looks much better and I love the look of new A4's. And for Mercedes, they look alright, but once you hear an AMG, the looks don't matter at all

I'll say—putting the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car would definitely lead to what in my book qualifies as an 'exciting' ride...

Chris Bangle. He's responsible for all the current (fugly) bmws. I like the late 90s BMWs best. They look fantastic.

Yeah, that sure is pretty sterile. :| Typically german though. Minimalistic. To the point. Clean. It's not so bad. I think italian design is generally the best looking, in almost any aspect of design. I don't know how they do it.

The last owner did the paneling. It's pretty nice, but I want to take it out. I have no clue where they got the gauges. It has a newer Pioneer stereo in it now. That's a pretty old picture, from 104k miles. It's got 172 on it now. Oh, it's a 1995 850. The interior just doesn't fit well with the rest of the car, otherwise it's completely stock. If I was gonna make it nice on the outside, I'd keep it, but it just doesn't fit.

It's just a stick on kit right? I hate that stuff, because it never fits quite right. It always has a gap around the edges, where it shouldn't have any gap. :|
