Is it possible to retrofit the scrolling trackpad from the last REV of PowerBook G4 12" and 15" to the previous REV??? My partner realy wants the scrolling feature ...

The two models I would like to update are the PowerBook G4 1.5 15" and a PowerBook G4 1.33 12".

Thank-you!
My Macs: MacBook White C2D, 2.0GHz, 4GB, 120GB 7200rpm HDD
PowerBook 12" 1.33GHz, 1.25GB, 80GB 7200rpm HDD (i bought it but the misses owns it!)
... waiting for new Mac Mini ... want 2.4GHz, 4GB, 200GB 7200rpm HDD ...

I'm fairly certain it's a firmware change and not a physical trackpad change. Also, are the trackpads the same size in a 12" and 15"?

And iScroll2 is a nice freeware version of SideTrack. I use it and it works seamlessly.
