After breaking the power socket on my trusty 'ol Pismo, and not being able to find a replacement power/sound board for less than $200, I decided to gut the old girl and sell all the bits and pieces off on ebay.

Check out my auctions if you're in need of any of the major bits.

I also have a bunch of little bits and pieces that I don't really think I could sell, but if anyone needs or wants them, you can have them for the cost of shipping. I'm keeping some things for the sentimental value, however.

Apple logo from the bottom of the unit
apple logo from the top of the display bezel
 IR port window
 trackpad clicker button
 expansion bay ejector
 latch release mechanism and button
any of the internal frame pieces
the faulty power / sound board, someone handier than myself might be able to repair it

If there's anything else from the old 'Book you might like, let me know, and I'll see if I still have it.

I've had this laptop since my sophomore year in college, bought it right before they introduced the Titanium G4's, and she has served me well. Over the years I've upgraded the hard drive, maxed out the ram, and installed a new LCD panel when the old one turned pink and got scratched up, and helped alot of people do the same in the process.

It had a good ride, time to put it out to pasture. Now, the big question is, what to buy next?

hehe

That I'm keeping, I modded it some time ago to play DVD's from any region. So I got an adapter and a firewire enclosure for it.

sorry,

michael
