Anybody have this combination of hardware?

15" Aluminum Powerbook
Dell 2001FP Flat Panel Display

I've been able to get the 2 to talk to each other over VGA but can't seem to get it to work over DVI. The powerbook recognizes the display but I don't see anything on the display's screen (it's almost as if it's not receiving a signal).

Wondering what's up?

Help please.

I have a Dell 1701FP that I couldn't get working with my PC over DVI. I then tried my PowerBook. It recognized the display, but I didn't get any image on the monitor. I concluded that the DVI port on the monitor was bad, a few months after the 3 year warranty expired!

My TiBook 667 works fine over DVI with a 2001FP. Maybe the cable is bad?
You have clicked the input button to switch the monitor to DVI input, yes?
