One the the main reasons Al-qeada gave for attacking the US is that US troops are stationed in Saudi Arabia. To Al-Qeada Saudi Arabia is Holy Land and the US are intruders. Imagine the Vatican with Chinese Troops stationed in it. Why do we have troops in Saudi, because the Saudis are scared to death of Saddam. You remove Saddam and there is no need for US Troops in the Muslim Holy Land. I grant that this is simplified, but there is truth to it.

Not only for Al-Quaida Saudi Arabia is the holy country but for EVERY muslim!!!! And american troops are not stationed there to protect Saudi Arabia against Saddam because Saddam would never attack Saudi Arabia after the defeat in the first war. It doesnt have the resources to do that! American troops are there to support the government of Saudi Arabia. This government is being hated by its people!!!! Without the suppoort of american troops that government would have fallen a long time ago and because americas cant let this happen since they are afraid to lose the oil they stay in Saudi Arabia and as long as this is going on terrorist will always raise and raise even more when iraq ist occupied!

Here's a little game for you: why didn't you just go read the old threads instead of asking this again. I explained it before quite clearly that this isn't about ending terrorism. Nothing is going to "end" it.

You wasting the bandwidth is for more useless and dumb, this topic has been covered thoroughly.

Not very convincing! try to talk with people that actually lived in the arabic region or worked there for a long time. They dont have to be natives! The best thing is to talk to american and europeans that lived and worked there. I did that and most real experts of that region will tell you how wrong you are!

Morpheus X,

since you say you know the real experts and have inside info, please tell me what will stop terrorism? I have a number of friends that have/do live in Jordan, Israel, Kuwait, and Turkey. They seem to think along the same lines as I. Getting rid of Saddam will help the region and put a damper on Terrorism. But I am open to your thoughts and oppinions. I read and responsed to these forums for that reason, so...

Ok first of all we have to stop to patronize the arabic region. Than we have to end the conflict in Israel forcing both the israelian and palestinian equaly into peace! It doesnt matter anymore who did what and who started it on both sides crimes were commited and to really achieve peace they should be forced to negotiate no matter how many suicide bombers try to stop. By going on you show that nothing will stop the peace progress. After that conflict is settled a major step towards peace and stability will be made.

Also, the western world has to support democratic developments in the arabic world and stop supporting regimes like the US are doing in Saudi Arabia to keep their hands on the oil. Like Iran, why openly say that country belongs to the axes of eveil? Its a very stable country with reformers at power trying to push back fundamentalist influence. Of course its still a long way to democracy but we should support those developments but by claiming Iran is a rogue state you only support the fundamentalists and weaken the position of the reformers.

This will be a long and hard way with a lot of setbacks but we have to let that region develope itself something we have stopped for many decades because of our oil interests.

With this War we are again patronizing them and the result of this war will be that criminals like Bin Laden get more supporters, the region will be destabilized because major parts of the people in the arabic region will not accept US Troops to occupy one of their states. The iraqi people will not accept the US Troops especially the shiites will not allow US Troops in their holy cities of Karbala and Nassirijah. Just like the Ayatollah Hakim will try to raise to power. He is waiting in Iran with 10000s of fighters.

Also, if america will install a democratic system it will take decades before the people of Iraq are ready for democracy. If you let them elect now the majority of shiites, 65% of the iraqi people will choose Hakim to be their president, so like i said before you will get a fundamentalistic state.

I dont know who you talked to of course that Israelian are i favour of this War is not surprising. The same for Kuwaitis since they hate Saddam. Turkey? 90% of the people in Turkey are against this war. The same in Jordan but than again nobody denies that Saddams regimes should be destroyed but again War might get rid of him but also destabilize that region.

To make it short War is nt the answer but will soon be part of the problem.

Bush is a borderline psycho with a poor grip on reality. In his mind, he's fighting a holy war against the forces of Evil.
The real Axis of Evil is Bush, Rumsford & Ashcroft. They have done more to destroy our freedom than all the terrorists in the history of the US.
This war will achieve one thing - it will create an entire new generation of anti-American terrorists. Mark my words.

Again happens sometimes when you translate 1:1

Pyhrrus(Pyrrhus/Pyrrhos) Sieg--->pyhruss victory

and you really don't have to explain to me the difference between nouns and adjectives but anyways thanks for your assistance....
