What is the best way to clean the PB monitor?

Is there any solution or chemical that can clean the monitor?

My finger was oily and accidentally touched the screen.... I tried to clean up with Corrective Glasses soft-cloth but there is still a light stain...

Pls help!

Thanking you in advance for your kind help...

Regards

iKlear wipes are really good at cleaning your PB screen. You can get them at an Apple store (and probably most places that sell Macs). They work great on all sorts of surfaces so you can use them to clean the other parts of your Mac (like the keyboard, case, etc.). I've used them for a long time and I've yet to find a better cleaning wipe.

I've found that Office Depot LCD screen cleaner works the best. I use that for my screen and iKlear for the rest of my PB.

sometimes I forget to use a sheet of paper and eventually the grease builds up from the keys on the screen. I just spend some quality time with my screen - a light cloth - and water. Just gently wiping for a good solid amount of time and it cleans right off.

I find that the soft lens cloth and eyeglass cleaning solution that you can get for eyeglasses and spectacles work great - the solution is usually a very mild cleaner and the soft lens cloth prevents scratching. Its only a couple of bucks at the optician's shop that sells eyeglasses and stuff.

I'm not sure if the cleaner fluid for eyeglasses is alcohol based, tho' I don't think it is. I use that with the soft lens cloth to clean my LCD screens, it also works well for cleaning old CDs too!

I don't know what PB screens are made of... can't help you there...
