Analogues dials to control pixels on screen. There's something about real dials I love.
Palette's modular controller brings dials and sliders to your laptop (hands-on)

What do you think? Stupid hipsters or genuinely useful? I've got an editor here to couldn't get his CC out fast enough.

I'm thinking hipster doofus. Those sliders and pots wear out, I don't miss those types of controllers at all, though they look cool.

At least in the audio world, there's so many dedicated controllers out there that I'm having a hard time seeing this product making sense.

Ooo, ooo, I'm contributing. Those look so cool. I still use my Powermates, for editing there's nothing better.

The PowerMate is the most awesome, seemingly useless device.

Same thing here! I was considered buying it for a carpc but stopped working of it!

What do people use it for nowadays? Any good use for day to day operation? Final cut pro? photoshop?
