(Sorry - first posting failed on me..!)

Hi all -

I've just bought a 12" Powerbook (which I love dearly, etc., etc.!) and had a strange experience...

I'd been pleased that the machine had no dead pixels. But using it today, I noticed a cluster of four pixels, arranged in a square over the right-hand side of the dock seemed to be stuck on white.

They were only visible over a light background - on black, they disappeared.

I was a bit concerned, but tried re-booting OsX. They disappeared.

Has anyone come across this before? I'm not complaining (they've gone now!), just wondering what might cause it.

Thanks!

Sometimes pixels aren't dead they're just 'paralysed' if you will, sometimes they can be brought back to life by gently massaging them. Or, as it seems in your case, rebooting the computer
